Before anyone can connect, you need to add them to the whitelist in the admin panel.
Step 1: Ask the child's parent for their gamertag or username (see table below).
Step 2: Go to the admin panel, make sure Goat Server is selected, and type the command in the console.

The dot in front of Bedrock gamertags (like .GamerTag) is automatic — the server adds it to tell Bedrock and Java players apart.
